Dr Janet Jones
|
With over 30 years experience in academia, security and imaging, and research and development, Dr. Janet Jones brings a wealth of skills to bear as Managing Director of Astraguard. Having obtained her PhD at Cambridge University in 1971, she was later involved with one the earliest image processing groups developing automated image recognition and classification. From there she obtained a number of distinguished research positions in Europe and went on to found a company specialising in PC-based imaging in 1984. She has been involved with Astraguard − and the development of its technology − since the beginning. |

Professor Bernard Jones |
Professor Bernard Jones is a distinguished scientist of international repute. He has had a brilliant academic career as a leading cosmologist, holding positions at Cambridge, Princeton, Berkeley, Paris, Leiden, and Copenhagen. He is an expert on computerised image analysis, particularly with respect to dynamic image sequences, and a leading authority on image compression and encryption. His advice has been sought by Home Office scientists in Britain, by state and military scientists in Norway, and by many commercial organisations in those and other countries. He has written and directed most of the coding for Astraguard’s pioneering software. |
